Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S22 series on February 19. Over the past few weeks, there have been several reports on the specs and price of this series. Recently, Roland Quandt exposed the price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. According to the leakster, this is the final official price for these smartphones.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 (8GB + 128GB) starts at349 euros. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ (8GB+128GB) comes with a 399 euros starting price while the Galaxy S22 Ultra starts at 469 euros.
If the above prices are true, then the pricing of the Galaxy S22 series is consistent with the pricing of the previous generation Galaxy S21 series. The prices of this device outside Europe should also be consistent.
As we all know, the initial Wholesale price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 (8GB+128GB) Chinese version is 2299 yuan ($390). Also, the starting wholesale price of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (16GB+512GB) Chinese version is 4199 yuan ($499). From this point of view, the wholesale price of the Galaxy S22 Ultra may exceed 10,000 yuan. This means that it will cost more than twice the wholesale price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro which has a 2,699 yuan ($322) starting price.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S22 SERIES IS UP FOR PRE-ORDER
Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series will be official in February. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is available for pre-order. Users can pre-order the Galaxy S22 series on Samsung’s official website and enjoy early delivery. At the same time, Samsung will also provide exclusive rights for the first batch of users. As of now, there is no information on the price of this device. The company will probably announce these details at the launch event.
According to reports, the Galaxy S22 series includes three models: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Among them, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the strongest and most popular. The Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a slightly curved OLED flexible screen, which can reach a standard brightness level of 1200 nits. Furthermore, the peak brightness level of the screen can reach an astonishing 1750 nits, making it the brightest mobile phone screen in the Android camp.
In the camera department, the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a quad rear camera setup. It uses a 108MP main camera, as well as two 10MP cameras and a 12MP shooter. The sensor model of the main 108MP sensor is HM3. It has a 1/1.33-inch ultra-large bottom, an aperture of f/1.8, and a unit pixel area of 0.8μm. It is expected to support OIS optical image stabilization.
In addition, all three models will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, and the European version will be equipped with the Exynos 2200 flagship processor. This series will have up to 1TB of storage.
